Your eye care team at Eye Trends is committed to the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. In order to minimize potential risks which may be associated with the Coronavirus spread in our community, we are now offering convenient access to our doctors through EyecareLive!

Now you can schedule virtual medical visits, upload images, and case history, and send secure messages to our clinic. To enroll, simply download the free app and complete your registration. Virtual visits will be offered Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

*You must have a smartphone/tablet with live video and the EyecareLive app to do a virtual visit.

What does a virtual visit mean? You can save a trip to the clinic and have a video call with one of our optometrists, Dr. Jill Liu or Dr. Sarah Quelly, via the EyecareLive App.

Which appointments qualify for a virtual visit? Virtual visits may be used for non-urgent medical eye conditions such as red eyes, dry eyes, ocular allergies, or eyelid conditions. Your doctor may also recommend follow-up care with a virtual visit.

Which appointments are excluded from a virtual visit? Comprehensive eye care and glasses/contact lens prescriptions require an in-office examination. If you are experiencing urgent ocular concerns such as sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, new flashes/floaters, double vision, ocular trauma, or need a foreign body removal, please call one of our six locations to be seen for an in-office examination. In addition, diagnostic testing for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, corneal conditions, and retina conditions require in-office testing.

*If you are unsure, just ask us! You can send messages to us via EyecareLive or call one of our six locations.
