Dr. Rhonda Manuel-Saldivar, OD, is a skilled and compassionate optometrist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered eye care. With over 15 years of experience in a multidisciplinary clinical environment, she has worked alongside internists, family practice providers, and ophthalmologists, developing a well-rounded and collaborative approach to patient care.
Dr. Manuel-Saldivar previously served as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she contributed to the training and mentorship of future optometrists. Her extensive clinical experience has shaped a holistic perspective on eye health, emphasizing the critical connection between systemic conditions and ocular outcomes. She is particularly knowledgeable in how hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease impact the eyes, and she is committed to early detection, prevention, and patient education in these areas.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Manuel-Saldivar enjoys traveling and is also an accomplished musician, proficient in both piano and accordion. She has previously accompanied the Houston Police Department Gospel Quartet in addition to several local Christian music groups, reflecting her passion for music and community involvement. She is married and has two adult children and two grandsons.
