Dr. Savannah Nguyen is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist, certified by the Texas Optometry Board in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She practices full-scope primary care optometry and is available for comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma evaluations, eye emergencies, myopia control, and general optometric services.
Her clinical training was in the Myopia Control Management Clinic at the University Eye Institute, where she routinely treated nearsightedness. She also completed an internship at Oakhill Eye Care, a private practice in Austin, where she gained experience in primary care optometry. In addition, Dr. Nguyen provided care at Hope Eye Clinic, where she routinely diagnosed and managed ocular conditions such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy in a diverse patient population.
Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, having board-game and puzzle nights, taking fitness classes, exploring Houston’s coffee and matcha spots, and traveling spontaneously whenever she gets the chance.
